Biography

Evangelist Jesse Norwood III was born to Jesse and Melma Norwood. His dad received a Word from God that his son would be called to ministry in June 1974 and then he took a step of faith and walked off his job to pursue the call of God. Jesse watched God use his father and mother in a significant way his whole life. After pursuing his own desires, he yielded his life to God. On Saturday, November 12, 1994, God called Evangelist Jesse Norwood III to the ministry. He heard an audible voice and God's power touched his body to the point that he could not move for sixty minutes. He was forever changed.

He met his wife Tania, while attending Zion Bible College, and married December 18, 2000. God has blessed them with two children, Priscah and Jesse IV.

Evangelist Norwood has been blessed by God to fulfill many of his dreams academically. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1997 with a degree in history. Overtime, God led him to attend Zion Bible College, and he graduated with a degree in Pastoral Studies in 2001. He has been blessed with a teaching certification from Taylor University. Also he received his master's degree in Literacy and Learning from Walden University.

Evangelist Norwood has been preaching since 1995. He has traveled extensively across America. Likewise, he has served on staff as an associate pastor. God blessed him to be a senior pastor for eight years. Currently, Evangelist Norwood enjoys traveling, being a special education teacher, and fulfilling the call of God.
